Ronald Gerard Connors
Ronald Gerard Connors CSsR (born November 1, 1915 in Brooklyn , † November 27, 2002 ) was Bishop of San Juan de la Maguana .
Life
Ronald Gerard Connors entered the Congregation of the Redemptorists in, put on 2 August 1936, the vows , and received on 22 June 1941, the priestly ordination . Paul VI appointed him on April 24, 1976 Coadjutor Bishop of San Juan de la Maguana and Titular Bishop of Equizetum .
The Archbishop of Santo Domingo and Military Vicar of the Dominican Republic , Octavio Antonio Cardinal Beras Rojas , consecrated him bishop on July 20 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Edwin Bernard Broderick , Former Bishop of Albany , and Tomás Francisco Reilly CSsR, Bishop of Niamey .
After the resignation of Tomás Francisco Reillys CSsR he succeeded him on July 20, 1977 as Bishop of San Juan de la Maguana. John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation on February 20, 1991.
