Ronan Le Crom (born July 13, 1974 in Lorient ) is a former French football goalkeeper .

Career

Ronan Le Crom was trained in the youth department of the French first division club AJ Auxerre . In 1996 he was awarded for a year to the French second division club LB Châteauroux in order to gain first professional experience there. With 17 missions, he played a significant role in the championship in Ligue 2 and the associated promotion to the top French division . The following year, Le Crom was awarded to the then second division club ASOA Valence , which was dissolved in 2005 due to financial problems. After two years he returned to his youth club AJ Auxerre, but was never able to assert himself there and only made 3 appearances in four seasons.

Therefore, Le Crom switched to the then first division club EA Guingamp in 2002 to become a regular goalkeeper there. Due to his good performance, he was appointed to the preliminary EM squad of France , but could not prevail there against Mickaël Landreau , Fabien Barthez and Grégory Coupet . He could not prevent the decline of his employer in 2004 either. In order to escape the second division, he was awarded to AS Saint-Étienne , but came there only on one season and was committed a year later by the first division club ES Troyes AC , where he was a regular goalkeeper. When this club was also relegated in 2007, he remained first-class with the move to RC Lens and was able to reach the French Cup final there as the second goalkeeper , which Lens lost to Paris Saint-Germain . Due to the reserve role at RC Lens, Le Crom was transferred to Grenoble Foot in 2008 . There he came to a total of 17 missions.

From June to December 2010, Le Crom was looking for a new club without success, until AS Nancy signed him until the end of the 2010/11 season .

The season preparation for the 2011/12 season completed Le Crom at Paris Saint-Germain , but was not equipped with a contract. While he remained without a club, the third division Olympique Nîmes offered him a collaboration, which he refused.

In January 2012, Paris Saint-Germain announced that Le Crom had signed a contract until the end of the 2012 season. Le Crom ended his career after the 2012/13 season in which PSG became champions.
