Room for Improvement is the first official mixtape by the Canadian rapper Drake . It was released on February 14, 2006 and has sold 6000 copies.

In an interview with thabiz.com in February 2006, Drake talked about the mixtape. “It's a mix CD that I recorded in collaboration with DJ Smallz. He makes mix CDs with a lot of musicians. He, Lil Wayne , Young Jeezy, and a host of other people ran it for me. It's called "Room for Improvement". There are 17 original songs and a few remixed songs on the mixtape. There are 22 songs in total. Guest musicians are z. B. Trey Songz , Lupe Fiasco and Nickelus F, an incredible artist from Virginia who I am very close friends with and with whom I have worked a lot. Also on the mixtape is Voyce, a singer from Toronto. But I don't have any guest artists who are also the main producers of the CD. Most of the songs were produced by AmiR and Boi-1da. "

The mixtape was re-released in 2009 with only 11 selected songs. It includes a remix of the song Do What You Do .
