So Far Gone is the third official mixtape by Canadian rapper Drake and was released on February 13, 2009. Guest musicians such as Omarion , Lloyd , Lykke Li , Lil Wayne and Bun B are represented on the mixtape .

reception

So Far Gone received good reviews in general, especially for its mix of melody and "eloquent lyrics". However, some critics saw a copy of Kanye West's 808s & Heartbreak . Julian Benbow wrote in the Boston Globe : “ So Far Gone suggests what 808s & Heartbreak would sound like if Kanye West could sing. But where West comes across as a bitter man lashing out, Drake sounds like a kid at the cross section of stardom, dazed by how he got there and unsure how it will play out. "The mixtape also helped the careers of producers Noah" 40 ”Shebib, Boi-1da and T-Minus to start.
