So Far Gone is the first EP by Canadian rapper Drake and was released on September 15, 2009. It is based on the mixtape of the same name released on February 13, 2009 . The EP consists of five songs, which are also included on the mixtape, and two new songs. There are guest stars like Trey Songz , Lil Wayne , Bun B , and Young Jeezy . Best I Ever Had and Successful were released as singles . So Far Gone won Rap Recording of the Year at the Juno Awards in April 2010 .

Commercial win

So Far Gone reached number 6 on the Billboard 200 in the US with 73,000 copies sold. In the second week it landed in 9th place with a total of 109,000 copies sold. So Far Gone was the fifth best-selling rap album in 2009. In February 2012, the album had already sold 639,000 copies. On July 4, 2010, So Far Gone was awarded gold by the Recording Industry Association of America .
