Archduchess Rosa Maria Antonie Roberta Josepha Anna Walburga Carmela Ignazia Rita de Cascia of Austria , from 1928 Rosa Duchess of Württemberg (born September 22, 1906 in Parsch near Salzburg ; † September 17, 1983 in Friedrichshafen ) was the daughter of Archduke Peter Ferdinand of Austria -Tuscany and Princess Maria Christina of Bourbon-Sicily .

Life

Archduchess Rosa grew up with her three siblings in Salzburg and Vienna, but had to emigrate to Switzerland after the end of the First World War in 1918 and went to school in Lucerne . At that time it was called Rosa Habsburg-Lothringen . In 1928 in Friedrichshafen she married the widower of her sister Helene , Philipp Albrecht Herzog von Württemberg , who was head of the House of Württemberg from 1939 until his death . The couple had six children.
