The thoughts are free is a German television film by Carlo Rola from 2003 . It is the sixteenth episode of the ZDF crime film series Rosa Roth with Iris Berben in the title role.
action
Eleven-year-old Laura Vorburg is missing from her parents, but arrives back home safe and sound a short time later. Rosa Roth, who takes part in the search, persuades the parents to speak to their daughter again. She suspects that something is a burden and by running away she wants to send out a cry for help. Three weeks after the incident, the girl is poisoned. Roth is very close to Laura's death and she starts an immediate investigation to clear up the case as soon as possible.

The critics of the television magazine TV Spielfilm gave the film the best possible rating, they showed the thumbs up and rated the criteria “claim” and “tension” with two out of three points each. They stated: "Oppressive".
