In the name of the father is a German television film by Carlo Rola from 2005 . It is the twentieth episode of the ZDF crime film series Rosa Roth with Iris Berben in the title role.

Elisabeth Scheck, already reported missing, is found dead by a lake. During its investigations, the KTU found that the place of discovery and the crime scene differed from one another and that she was killed by physical violence. Rosa Roth finds out that the dead woman had a lot of love affairs. The taxi driver Max Robertsen, who was known to the police, was her last partner.
