Rosa Scherer , née Siska (born June 21, 1866 in Wagrain near Vöcklabruck , Upper Austria , † September 20, 1926 in Linz ), was an Austrian flower and landscape painter .

Rosa Scherer began her studies at the Munich School of Applied Arts . She then studied with the landscape painter Peter Paul Müller in Gauting near Munich and then with Olga Wisinger-Florian in Vienna .

In 1889 Scherer opened a painting school in Linz. Among her students were Margarete Pausinger , geb. Brunner, and Vilma Eckl . In 1900 she took part for the first time in an exhibition of the Upper Austrian Art Association . Her painting belongs to late impressionism .
