Roxane Duran (born January 27, 1993 in Paris ) is an Austrian - French actress .

Life

Duran attended the drama schools Cours de Théâtre Irène de Crozefon and Cours Florent in France before she got a role in the historical drama The White Ribbon - A German Children's Story by Michael Haneke . In this film she plays the 14-year-old doctor's daughter Anna, who is sexually abused by her father. In 2011, she starred in the film The Monk by Dominik Moll , an adaptation of the book of the same name by Matthew Lewis . In 2012, she took on the leading role of Anne Frank in the play The Diary of Anne Frank by Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt .

In addition to her mother tongues, German and French, Roxane Duran is also fluent in English. She lives in Paris.
