Roy Curvers (born December 27, 1979 in Haelen ) is a former Dutch cyclist and later coach.

Athletic career

Roy Curvers began his career in 2003 with the Dutch cycling team Van Hemert Groep Cycling . In his first year he won the French one-day race Grand Prix de Dourges . In the 2006 season Curvers was third in the Noord-Nederland Tour and in 2007 he won a stage in the Olympia's Tour . In 2011 he won the Belgian one-day race Halle-Ingooigem . in 2013 he finished third at the GP Impanis-Van Petegem .

Curvers has been driving for Skil-Shimano since 2008 and competed for this team, which changed names several times, including the Tour de France six times , which he was able to finish every time. After the end of the season he ended his career as an active player and became the coach of this team.
