Rudolf Friedrich von Lattorff

Rudolf Friedrich von Lattorff (* 1669 in Hohbeck , Jerichow district ; † October 11, 1708 ) was a royal Prussian major general .

Life

He was a member of the Anhalt noble family Lattorff . His parents were the Brandenburg captain and heir to Hohbeck Rudolf von Lattorff († 1684) and Erdmuth von Wulffen adH Loburg (* 1618).

Lattorff promoted on 31 August 1689 for Major , continue on January 1, 1693 to lieutenant colonel , then on July 1, 1703 for Colonel and 1704 was on July 1, chief of the regiment v. Wulffen. He took part in the War of the Spanish Succession , but succumbed to his injuries received in the Battle of Oudenaarde . Posthumously , Lattorff was promoted to the rank of major general on October 25, 1708 .

He was married to Margarethe Sophie de Bruce († 1739). She was the daughter of Lieutenant Colonel Jean de Bruce from Brandenburg and his wife Sophie Luise von Ritter . The couple had two sons and three daughters.
