Rudolf Gunderloch

Rudolf Gunderloch (born October 14, 1885 in Freiburg im Breisgau ; † June 25, 1962 in Wiesbaden ) was a German medical officer.

Life

As the son of the engineer Julius Gunderloch , Gunderloch was a member of the Kaiser Wilhelms Academy for military medical education from March 29, 1905 to February 28, 1910 . In 1905 he became a member of the Pépinière-Corps Franconia. He served as a junior physician in the 2nd Nassau Infantry Regiment No. 88 . He was sent to the Charité to serve. In the Reichswehr he was senior physician general and commander of a medical battalion. As a senior physician , he was from May 1, 1934, in command of the newly established Military Medical Academy . On March 1, 1937, he was promoted to general doctor. When it was set up on August 25, 1939, he joined the 5th Army (Wehrmacht) as an army doctor . When the 18th Army emerged from it after the attack on Poland in October 1939 , Gunderloch was its army doctor from November 5, 1939 to September 10, 1942, and from January 1, 1941 as general staff doctor . Then he was with Army Group North until February 5, 1943 . After two months in the Führerreserve of the Army High Command , he came to the Deputy General Command of the XII on April 1, 1943 . Army Corps / Military District XII. On September 1, 1944, he was back in the OKH's Führerreserve, and was adopted on November 30, 1944.
