Rudolf Harders

Rudolf Harders (born September 21, 1935 in Emden ) is a German lawyer , administrative officer and politician ( CDU ). He was mayor of Oberursel for twelve years . He is Protestant, married and lives in the Taunus .

Education, profession and politics

From 1956 to 1965, after graduating from high school in Emden, he studied law and political science in Münster and Göttingen . This was followed by legal traineeships in Oldenburg and assessor exams in Hanover . From 1965 to 1978 Harders worked as a department head, city councilor / city councilor and general representative of the city director in Aurich as well as department head, district director and general representative of the upper district director of the Göttingen district . From 1978 to 1990 he was mayor of the city of Oberursel (Taunus).

From 1990 to 1997 he worked as a lawyer, head of human resources and law at an airline and, after establishing the unity of Germany, as part of the establishment and expansion of public administration in the new federal states, as head of human resources for the city of Halle (Saale) .

Secondary positions and voluntary activities

Harders worked in the years from 1965 as managing director of the working group of the cities in the district of Aurich and in the province of Groningen (Netherlands) and was a member of the presbytery of the Evangelical Reformed community of Aurich. In Göttingen he held a number of other secondary offices and voluntary activities: at the Volksheimstätte of the district of Göttingen , at the employment office, at the Sparkassenzweckverband Münden, in the tourist association, at the DRK district association, the landscape and transport association Eichsfeld / Duderstadt, the tourist office Münden, with the municipality Accident Insurance Association Hanover and at the Evangelical Reformed Congregation Göttingen.

He also worked at the Halle Labor Court, the municipal employers' association and the municipal accident insurance association of the state of Saxony-Anhalt.
