Rudolf Kurtz (politician)

Rudolf Kurtz (born October 20, 1910 in Nieder-Leschen (Leszno Dolne), Silesia ; † April 3, 1987 ) was a Hessian politician ( CDU ) and a member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

After graduating from high school, Rudolf Kurtz studied mathematics and physics at the University of Breslau , where he did his doctorate. Ing.

From 1939 there followed military service and imprisonment until Rudolf Kurtz was able to work again in his profession in 1946 as a lecturer and in 1949 as a building officer and professor at the State Engineering School in Frankfurt.

politics

After the war Rudolf Kurtz became a member of the district council of the Obertaunuskreis and chairman of the CDU parliamentary group. From December 1, 1958 to November 30, 1974 he was a member of the Hessian state parliament.

In 1969 and 1974 he was a member of the 5th and 6th Federal Assemblies, respectively .
