Rudolf Quoos

Rudolf Quoos (born February 15, 1820 in Altkloster near Bomst , Neumark , † August 5, 1904 in Oberbrockendorf , Lower Silesia) was a German manor owner and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Quoos attended the Protestant high school in Groß-Glogau from 1830 to 1837 and studied law and camera sciences from 1837 to 1840 in Bonn and Berlin and passed the first and second legal exams at the Higher Regional Court in Groß-Glogau. There he also worked as an auscultator and trainee lawyer up to the third exam. Before leaving the civil service, he became a farmer and in 1847 a landowner . From 1851 he was the owner of the manor on his estate in Oberbrockendorf, where he was also a registrar, head of office, member of the district committee, district deputy and member of the Silesian Provincial Parliament .

From 1864 to 1866 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and from 1877 to 1878 of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Liegnitz 6 (Liegnitz, Goldberg , Haynau ) and the National Liberal Party .

He had been a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn since 1839 .
