Rudolf Rass

Rudolf Rass (born January 1, 1934 in Hof (Saale) ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

Rass graduated from high school in 1954 and studied physics and philosophy at the University of Göttingen and at the Free University of Berlin (FUB). During his studies, he completed a semester abroad at the universities of Uppsala , Madrid and Strasbourg . In 1964 he did his doctorate at the FUB and then worked at the Fritz Haber Institute of the Max Planck Society . From 1976 Rass was a professor at the University of Education in Berlin , after its dissolution in 1980, professor at the Institute for Didactics of Physics and Teacher Training at the Technical University of Berlin .

Rass has been a member of the SPD since 1962. In the Berlin election in 1967 he was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives on the Steglitz district list, he was a member of parliament until 1981.

He was a member of the Broadcasting Council of the Sender Free Berlin (SFB).

Since 2001 he has been a member of the men's choir Zehlendorf 1873.
