Rudolf Rossmeissl

Rudolf Rossmeissl (born March 10, 1947 in Roth , district of Roth , Middle Franconia ) is a German mycologist and author.

Life

Rudolf Rossmeissl was born in Roth in Middle Franconia as the second child of the parents Martin ( master blacksmith ) and Maria Rossmeissl (maker). His brother is Ernst Rossmeissl .

From 1953 to 1959 he attended the elementary school in Roth-Gartenstrasse and then switched to the middle school for boys and girls (today's Wilhelm-von-Stieber-Realschule Roth), where he passed secondary school in 1964 .

After joining the public service in 1964, he passed the employment test for the higher, non-technical administrative service in 1968 . With one year as a clerk in the social welfare administration , followed eight years as provisional administrative management at today's district clinic Roth .

For the following 31 years he dealt with the finances of the Roth district, 15 years of which as a district treasurer and promotion to the higher administrative office (VOAR) in 1996. After 45 years of service as a civil servant, he entered the rest phase of partial retirement in 2009 with a subsequent transfer to the Retired in 2012.

In 1969 he married Marianne Hofmockel (* 1947), with whom he has twin sons .

Volunteering

Rudolf Rossmeissl has been a member of the Natural History Society Nuremberg e.V. (NHG), mushroom and herbalism department, since 1976 . After studying for four semesters at the Nuremberg Adult Education Center ( Bildungszentrum Nürnberg ), he passed the mushroom advisor examination of the German Society for Mycology eV (DGfM) in 1978. Since June 1, 1981, a mushroom advice center has been set up in the Roth district, where he works as a volunteer mushroom expert .

He is also a permanent member of the jury for the preliminary round of the culinary competition for local products (since 2005) in the competition for the best press bag in the Roth district.
