Rudolf disk

Rudolf Scheibe (born June 18, 1918 in Naunhof , † December 1, 2002 in Solnhofen ) was a German painter , sculptor and stonemason .

Rudolf Scheibe worked as a painter, draftsman , sculptor, stonemason and drawing teacher. From 1932 to 1936 he completed an apprenticeship as a gardener and stonemason at the granite and paving stone works Günther & Fiedler in Beucha near Leipzig . From 1940 to 1941 he studied at the Academy for Graphic Arts in Leipzig with Alfred Thiele. In 1944 he attended the sculpture class at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Leipzig, and in 1945 the carving school in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . From 1946 to 1947 he continued his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich , and from 1948 to 1949 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg under Max Körner and Hermann Schorer. In 1950, Scheibe completed another apprenticeship with Jakob Wilhelm Fehrle in Schwäbisch Gmünd .

In 1952 he became a member of the professional association of the fine arts and the art guild. In 1963 he took part in the "Great Munich Art Exhibition" in the House of Art. In 1965 and 1966 he participated in the exhibition of the Munich artists' cooperative in the Haus der Kunst. Disk was based and active in Solnhofen in the Altmühltal .

After his death in 2002, a large exhibition of his works was shown in the HypoVereinsbank Augsburg in 2005 . The exhibition at the “Art Fair in the Park” in Augsburg also followed in 2005. This was followed by the large art exhibition in the “Small Castle” in Herrsching am Ammersee from August 8 to 20, 2006 and the exhibition with the group of artists “7 around” in the “Galerie am Graben” in Augsburg from November 13 to December 1, 2006 .
