Rudolf Schoeller (born April 27, 1902 in Düren , † March 7, 1978 in Grabs ) was a Swiss automobile racing driver .
Career
Rudolf Schoeller comes from the Düren industrialist family Schoeller and was the son of the Zurich entrepreneur Leopold Albert Schoeller (* 1878) and the great-grandson of the Zurich worsted yarn producer Rudolf Wilhelm Schoeller .
Schoeller was a Swiss veteran who had already raced in the 1930s when he competed at the German Grand Prix in the 1952 World Cup . Schoeller drove a Ferrari 212F2 from the Swiss Ecurie Espadon ; He didn't finish after problems with the starter.
Schoeller competed in the old Ferrari at small events until the end of the 1952 season , after which he retired from racing.
