Rudolf Strobl

Rudolf Strobl (born March 9, 1927 in Innsbruck ; † September 12, 1997 in Pflach , Tyrol ) was an Austrian actor .

Life

Strobl attended drama school in Hanover from 1943 to 1944 and passed the drama diploma examination in 1946. After playing in German theaters and being a member of the Exl-Bühne from 1948 to 1954 , he accepted a call to the Vienna Volkstheater in 1956 , where he played as a member of the ensemble for life.

His roles included classic and modern pieces. He also took on roles in well-known television series such as Der alte Richter and Familie Leitner and also appeared in the senior citizens' club , received some roles in feature films and also dedicated himself to operettas (Bad Ischl, Mörbisch).

From 1968 Strobl was President of the Austrian Stage Union.

Rudolf Strobl's grave is in the cemetery in Breitenwang (Reutte) in Tyrol.
