Rudolf von Bandemer

Rudolf Wilhelm Otto von Bandemer (born June 19, 1829 in Weitenhagen , † August 15, 1906 in Selesen near Schmolsin , Stolp district , Western Pomerania ) was a German landowner and politician .

Bandemer studied at the Agricultural University Poppelsdorf in Bonn and at the Agricultural Academy Möglin . He was Fideikommiss owner of the Selesen manor near Schmolsin, member of the district council in Köslin and deputy head of office. Bandemer took part in the German War of 1866, in the course of which he was appointed Rittmeister . As Rittmeister a. D. he became chamberlain .

From 1877 until his death in 1906 von Bandemer represented the constituency of Köslin 1 ( Lauenburg - Bütow - Stolp in the Prussian House of Representatives . In the traditionally conservative constituency since 1879 only German Conservative candidates have been elected.
