Rueland Frueauf the Elder (* around 1430/50 in Salzburg or Obernberg am Inn ; † May 12, 1507 in Passau ) was a German or Salzburg painter who first ran a workshop in Salzburg and from around 1478 in Passau. He was the father of Rueland Frueauf the younger .
