Rufling is the westernmost district of Leonding . It has 1348 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020).
geography
Rufling borders on Wilhering to the west and north , Bergham to the east and Jetzing to the south. A small part of the Kürnberger Forest is located in the Ruflingen area. At a height of around 435 meters, Rufling is the highest point in the city of Leonding.
history
Rufling was first mentioned in 791 AD as Hrodolfingum . Rufling Castle is located in Rufling .
