Ruhstorf is a village in Markt Simbach in the Lower Bavarian district of Dingolfing-Landau .

Geographical location

Ruhstorf is about six kilometers southwest of Simbach.

history

Ruhstorf was mentioned in writing as a church village as early as 1508. His church was still dedicated to John the Baptist in 1526 . From 1590 John the Baptist and John the Evangelist were given as patronage ; from 1600 only John the Evangelist.

On March 23, 1913 (Easter), Ruhstorf was listed as an expositur (church) of the parish of Oberhausen with 26 houses and 146 inhabitants.

Ruhstorf belonged to the resolution of the District Court Arnstorf to district court Eggenfelden and until 1 July 1972 the district Eggenfelden . It was then incorporated into the district of Dingolfing-Landau as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .

On December 31, 1990, Ruhstorf had 280 inhabitants and was an independent parish.
