Ryan Carnes (born December 6, 1982 in Pittsfield , Illinois ) is an American actor .

Life

He studied at Duke University , where he also played in the marching band .

Ryan Carnes has played in various films since 2004, for example a leading role in the film Eating Out , where he was also seen in a nude scene. In the German-speaking world, in his role as Justin, friend of the gay Andrew Van de Kamp ( Shawn Pyfrom ), the son of Bree Van de Kamp (played by Marcia Cross ), in the first and second season of the series Desperate Housewives , he achieved greater awareness.

Ryan Carnes also played between July 2004 and September 2005 the role of Lucas Stansbury in the series General Hospital , which was subsequently taken over by Ben Hogestyn until 2006 . In late 2013 it was announced that Ryan Carnes would take over the role of Lucas Stansbury again.

In 2006 he played the role of Tyler in the movie Surf School . In 2009 he played the lead role as Chris Moore / Kit Walker in the film The Phantom .
