Ryszard Górecki

Ryszard Górecki (born June 22, 1956 in Słubice ) is a Polish painter and object artist .

Life

After graduating the College of Forestry, he studied from 1975 to 1980 at the Pedagogical University in Zielona Góra . He started painting in the late 1970s. In 1980 he founded Galeria Prowincjonalna in Słubice , of which he was curator until 2002. Katarzyna Józefowicz and Dominik Lejman made their debut there . He has also been working as an object artist since the mid-1990s.

Górecki lives and works in Słubice and Berlin.
