Ryszard Kasyna (born September 28, 1957 in Nowy Staw , Pomeranian Voivodeship , Poland ) is a Polish clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Pelplin .

Life

The bishop of Gdansk , Lech Kaczmarek , gave him on 24 January 1982 in Oliwa Cathedral , the ordination .

Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Dices and auxiliary bishop in Gdansk on January 24, 2005 . The apostolic nuncio in Poland, Archbishop Józef Kowalczyk , donated him the episcopal ordination on April 2nd of the same year in the Danzig Marienkirche ; Co- consecrators were Tadeusz Gocłowski CM , Archbishop of Danzig, and Piotr Libera , Auxiliary Bishop in Katowice . As a motto he chose In Veritate et Caritate .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on January 25, 2010 a member of the Apostolic Signature . He was appointed Bishop of Pelplin on October 27, 2012, and was introduced to the office on December 8 of the same year.
