Rzyszczewko is located in Western Pomerania , six kilometers southwest of the district town of Sławno . The place should not be confused with Rzyszczewko near Polanów (German: Klein Ristow ) or the residential area Rzyszczewko (German Ristowkaten ) in the village of Kołtki ( Hölkewiese ) near Biały Bór ( Baldenburg ).
history
The Neu Ristow settlement was established in 1773 from royal pardons . It had nine farms and a mill with a few houses and was one kilometer northwest of Ristow on the way to Karwitz (Karwice).
In 1818 there lived 76 inhabitants, the number of which rose to 102 in 1885 and 63 in 1925 (last count before the merger with Ristow).
Until 1945, the place was part of the municipality (Alt) Ristow (now in Polish: Rzyszczewo) in the Schlawe district of the Köslin administrative district of the Pomeranian province .
Before the end of World War II , Neu Ristow was occupied by the Soviet Army on March 7, 194 5 . After the end of the war, the village and the whole of Western Pomerania were placed under Polish administration.
Today Rzyszczewko is part of the Gmina Sławno in the Powiat Sławieński of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship (until 1998 Slupsk Voivodeship ).

Ecclesiastically Neu Ristow was assigned to the parish of Ristow until 1945 . It was in the church district of Schlawe in the church province of Pomerania of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . Today the evangelical inhabitants of Rzyszczewko belong to the parish Koszalin ( Köslin ) in the diocese of Pomerania-Greater Poland of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland .
