The Sàbat Hill (English; Bulgarian хълм Сабат chalm Sabat ) is a 151 m high and non- iced hill on the Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It rises 1.36 km north of Battenberg Hill and 560 m southeast of Voyteh Point in the Dospey Heights of the Ray Promontory on the Byers Peninsula . The Richards Cove is located west-northwest and the Barclay Bay east of him.
Spanish scientists mapped it in 1992, Bulgarian in 2010. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2010 after the Spanish geologist Francesc Sàbat of the University of Barcelona , who on December 30, 1991, together with Jorge Enrique, had made the first ascent of Mount Friesland .
