The Séveraisse is a mountain river in France that runs in the Hautes-Alpes department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region . It rises under the name Torrent de Chabournéou from the Glacier de Chabournéou glacier of the same name in the Écrins National Park , in the municipal area of La Chapelle-en-Valgaudémar , generally drains in a westerly direction through the valley of the Valgaudemar and flows after 33 kilometers at the municipal boundary of Saint-Firmin and Chauffayer as a right tributary to the Drac .
