Sílvio Guterres Dutra
Sílvio Guterres Dutra (born June 6, 1966 in Encruzilhada do Sul , Rio Grande do Sul , Brazil ) is a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Vacaria .
Life
Sílvio Guterres Dutra received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Porto Alegre on December 18, 1993 .
On May 9, 2018, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Vacaria. The Archbishop of Porto Alegre, Jaime Spengler OFM , donated him episcopal ordination on July 22nd of the same year in the Ginásio dos Metalúrgicos in Charqueadas . Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Pelotas , Jacinto Bergmann , and his predecessor Irineu Gassen OFM. The inauguration in the Diocese of Vacaria took place on August 5, 2018.
