Locations

The headquarters as well as the cell development were in Giheung (South Korea). A large-scale production facility for battery cells was set up at the second Korean location in Ulsan . The pre-series projects for lithium-ion cells began in 2010 and the large-scale production in 2011. Both the system development and the construction of prototypes were located at the German location in Stuttgart-Feuerbach . A global team for marketing, sales and project management was also set up from Stuttgart. In July 2009, the company grew through the acquisition of the US company Cobasys LLC, which is represented in Orion (Michigan) and Springboro (Ohio).
