basketball

successes

The basketball department can look back on a successful past. The men's team played in the first basketball league in the 1960s and 1970s and was often South German champions. In 1995 and 2005 they were German runner-up in age group competitions at the national best basketball games . The women's team, the big Ladybaskets Möhringen, has been playing in the regional league for several years.

The SVM can also boast some successes in the youth sector. In almost all age groups (U10, U12, U13w, U14m1, U14m2, U15w, U16m1, U16m2, U18m, U19w, U20m) teams play for the Baden-Württemberg Championship. In addition, SV Möhringen was able to "raise" many talents and, despite the geographical proximity to the Bundesliga club MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg , retain many. The SVM is also successful in the senior sector, where it is still playing for the German championship today.

Soccer

The soccer department has some youth teams that play in the performance relay. The first active team of the club currently plays in the district league, the second in the district league.

Handball

In 1966, SV Möhringen was one of the founding members of the handball Bundesliga , in which they played for seven years until they were relegated at the end of the 1972/73 season.
