Saša Milivojev ( Serbian - Cyrillic Саша Миливојев ; * 1986 in Zrenjanin , Yugoslavia , now Serbia ) is a Serbian writer , poet , journalist , columnist and political analyst. One of the most widely read columnists in Serbia, author of five books and numerous columns published in various daily newspapers. He is the author of the novel "The Boy from the Yellow House". His work has been translated into around twenty languages ​​around the world.

biography

Milivojev was born in Zrenjanin, where he attended the music high school. He sang in Arthur Honegger's Le Roi David in the Arad Philharmonic Hall in Romania. After graduating from high school in music, he turned to the Philosophical Faculty of the University of Belgrade , where he studied Serbian language and literature. Milivojev is the author of four lyric collections: The Secret Behind the Sigh (Narodna knjiga, Beograd, 2006 ), The First Time (Kulturno-prosvetna zajednica, Kruševac, 2008 ), When the firefly flies away (in Serbian, English and Arabic, Filip Višnjić , Beograd 2010 ), Ljubavni Recepat ( Kulturno -prosvetna zajednica, Kruševac, 2010 ) and the novel The Boy from the Yellow House (Autorsko izdanje, Beograd, 2011 ). He has won numerous prizes and has been included in various significant poetry anthologies, including "The Pannonian Seagull XIX", "The Springs of Rudnik XIX", and "The Sooty Lane XIX".

Since 2008 Milivojev has been a columnist for Politika , in the Pogledi section and for TV Revija of the same company. He has been writing for Pravda since 2009, dealing with analytical-synthetic research into the recent and current history of the Serbs. Inspired by topics about war crimes, he earned numerous praise, but his political opponents repeatedly accused him of manipulating readers and spreading hatred. In 2009 more than three million copies of his texts were printed in various daily newspapers. He was one of the most widely read columnists in Serbia in 2008 and 2009 and a victim of various political manipulations. Unofficially, he influenced important decisions of the leading political elite. Saša Milivojev, for example, is the founder of the idea of ​​the political thirst strike and a professional rating downgrader. He deals with political dramaturgy, in literature as well as in reality.

He has presented his poetry to the Belgrade public twice in the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade, in collaboration with renowned artists such as Isidora Bjelica, Eva Ras and Danijel Pavlović. Well-known actresses such as Ružica Sokić, Danica Aćimac , Suzana Mančić and others performed his poetry . He found important support in working with Olja Ivanjicki and the directors Zdravko Šotra and Marko Novaković. He has poetry fans all over the world.

In May 2010 he presented the book "When the Firefly Flies Away" to the audience in Cairo, where he attended various literary meetings where famous authors spoke about him: Soha Zaky and Alaa Al Aswany (one of the most famous writers in the world, founder of opposition political movement Kifaya). In Saudi Arabia journalists write about his love for God, an Egyptian daily newspaper mentions him as a "poet of mystical flight and meditation ..."
