PH Petersen Saatzucht Lundsgaard GmbH

The PH Petersen company was founded in 1931 and joined Saaten Union as a partner in 1971. In 1982 she became a member of Hybro GbR and bred hybrid rye . In 2009 the company was renamed Saaten-Union Biotec GmbH due to its international importance. In 1999, Deutsche Saatveredelung joined Saaten-Union Biotec GmbH as the eighth partner . In July 2011, it was decided to join Solana Research GmbH. This is part of the Solana Group. Solana GmbH & Co. KG is in turn the exclusive sales organization of SaKa Pflanzenzucht GmbH & Co. KG.

The companies receive support with the breeding programs from the biotechnology laboratory Saaten-Union Biotec GmbH . The aim is to develop higher-yielding, healthier and higher quality varieties with the help of new technologies.

Across Europe, the company is active as an umbrella brand with eight subsidiaries in France , England , the Czech Republic , Poland , Romania , Hungary , Russia and, since 2009, also in the Ukraine ; in other countries distribution cooperations are maintained.
