Sabrina Ascacibar
Sabrina Ascacibar (born February 14, 1964 in Dakar , Senegal ) is a German- Argentine actress , singer , dancer and musician .
Life
Sabrina Ascacibar was born in Dakar (Senegal) as the daughter of an Argentinian father and a German-South African mother. She grew up in Buenos Aires and, after many years on the road, lives with her son in Hamburg .
Ascacibar studied drama and dance at the Herbert Berghof Studio New York from 1985 to 1987 . She took lessons from Uta Hagen , Herbert Berghof , Carol Rosenfeld and Hellen Gallagher alongside Lluís Homar . She studied politics and theater studies at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich .
As an all-rounder, Ascacibar creates its own thematic evenings with music, projections, bizarre stories and songs between reality and fiction. She also writes her own songs and often falls back on her musical roots from South America. She accompanies herself with ukulele and guitar and works with other musicians.
In addition to her mother tongues German and Spanish, Sabrina Ascacibar also speaks English, French and Portuguese.
