Sachie Ishizu ( Japanese 石津幸 恵 , Ishizu Sachie ; born September 3, 1992 in Tokyo ) is a Japanese tennis player .

Career

Ishizu, who prefers the hard court, competed at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympic Games in Singapore and reached the quarterfinals there in doubles alongside Emi Mutaguchi .

So far, she has won nine singles and one double title at ITF tournaments. In the main draw of a WTA tournament, she stood for the first time at the HP Japan Women's Open Tennis 2010 in Osaka , where she lost her first round match against Samantha Stosur with 6-0 and 6-3.

She celebrated her greatest success so far on the WTA Tour in Auckland in 2014 when, after successfully qualifying, she defeated both Anett Kontaveit and Julia Görges and reached the quarterfinals.

Ishizu played her last international tournament so far in October 2015. She is therefore no longer in the world rankings.
