Saciova

Saciova is located 15 km southwest of Sfântu Gheorghe and 6 km from Reci in Transylvania.
history
At the top of the right mountain range in the Saciova Valley is a castle, some remains of which have been preserved. The castle was built in the 13th century and was probably part of the border wall of the border between the Kingdom of Hungary and the Kingdom of Romania .
In the 18th century the medieval church was destroyed and the reformed church was built. The coffered ceiling of this was built in 1791.
At first Saciova belonged to Oderhellen County . The Trianon Peace Treaty made the village a part of Háromszék County .

In 1910 there were 302 people in Saciova, of which 282 were Hungarians , 19 Romanians and 1 German . In 2011 there were 133 inhabitants, 130 Hungarians and 3 Romanians.
