Saint-Hilaire is a town and commune Déléguée in the French community Plateau des Petites-Roches with 1,326 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Isère in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . The inhabitants are called Saint-Hilairois .

The municipality of Saint-Hilaire merged with Saint-Bernard and Saint-Pancrasse to form the Commune nouvelle Plateau-des-Petites-Roches on January 1, 2019 . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Grenoble and the canton of Le Moyen Grésivaudan (until 2015: Canton Le Touvet ).

The municipality of Saint-Hilaire was surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Saint-Bernard in the north, La Terrasse in the northeast, Lumbin in the east, Crolles in the south and southeast, Saint-Pancrasse in the south and southwest and Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse in the west.
