Saint-Thurin is a town and commune Déléguée in the French community Vêtre-sur-Anzon with 191 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Loire department in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes .

The municipality of Saint-Thurin merged with Saint-Julien-la-Vêtre on January 1, 2019 to form the Commune nouvelle Vêtre-sur-Anzon. It belonged to the canton of Boën-sur-Lignon and the arrondissement of Montbrison .

Geography, infrastructure

The Route nationale 89 leads via Saint-Thurin. The municipality of Saint-Thurin bordered Saint-Martin-la-Sauveté to the north and east, Ailleux to the south-east, Saint-Laurent-Rochefort to the south, Saint-Didier-sur-Rochefort to the south-west, and Saint- Julien-la-Vêtre and to the north-west with Champoly .
