Saint-Julien-la-Vêtre is a town and commune Déléguée in the French community Vêtre-sur-Anzon with 359 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Loire department in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Rhone-Alpes ).
The municipality of Saint-Julien-la-Vêtre merged with Saint-Thurin on January 1, 2019 to form the Commune nouvelle Vêtre-sur-Anzon. There it belonged to the canton of Boën-sur-Lignon and the arrondissement of Montbrison . The commune of Saint-Julien-la-Vêtre bordered in the north-west by Les Salles , in the north-east by Champoly , in the east by Saint-Thurin, in the south-east by Saint-Didier-sur-Rochefort , in the south-west by Saint-Priest-la-Vêtre and to the west with Noirétable .
