Sainte-Gemmes is a village and a former French community with 102 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loir-et-Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire . It belonged to the arrondissement of Vendôme and was part of the canton of La Beauce (until 2015: canton of Marchenoir ).

With effect from January 1, 2017, Sainte-Gemmes was merged with the former municipalities of Baigneaux , Beauvilliers and Oucques to form the Commune nouvelle Oucques la Nouvelle and has since had the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality .

Neighboring towns are La Chapelle-Enchérie in the northwest, Épiais in the north, Oucques in the northeast, Boisseau in the southeast, Baigneaux in the south, Selommes in the southwest and Faye in the west.
