Salvador Ichazo , full name Salvador Ichazo Fernández (born January 26, 1992 in San José de Mayo ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
society
According to the club, the 1.88 meter tall goalkeeper initially played for Central in his youth and then moved to Danubio's youth department in 2006 . He was there since the Clausura 2011 in the squad of the first team playing in the Primera División . He made his debut in the top Uruguayan league in 2012, was initially a regular goalkeeper in the 2012/13 season and played all 15 top division games in the Apertura . After the first half of the season his team finished last in the table. In the second half of the season two more missions were added. In the 2013/14 season he played 33 more times. At the end of the season, he and his team won the Uruguayan championship. Ichazo became the hero of the decisive second final game against the Montevideo Wanderers when he saved four penalties in a penalty shootout. In the Apertura 2014 he was used in 15 top division games and two matches of the Copa Sudamericana 2014 . On January 28, 2015, Danubio confirmed Ichazo's immediate loan to Serie A club Torino . The transfer was initially for six months on loan and included a purchase option that could be drawn in mid-2015, which the club then did. With the Italians he made his debut under coach Gian Piero Ventura on the 38th matchday in a 5-0 win against AC Cesena in the league. His team finished 9th in the Serie A table at the end of the season. In the 2015/16 season, three more top division appearances and three completed games in the Coppa Italia for the club from Turin followed. In the first two league games of the 2016/17 season he was part of the Turin squad, but was not used there. After Turin FC announced the commitment of Joe Hart on August 30, 2016 , Ichazo was passed on to FC Bari 1908 as part of a loan deal. There he played three league games. He returned to Danubio FC on loan in early February 2017. He played nine top division games with the Montevideans and one encounter in the 2017 Copa Sudamericana .
He returned to Turin in summer 2017.
National team
Ichazo, who already played with the U-15 and U-17 national team of Uruguay at the U-15 South American Championship 2007 in Brazil and at the U-17 South American Championship in Chile in 2009 , was part of the squad of the Uruguayan U-17 team. Selection at the U-17 World Cup in Nigeria 2009 , which failed in this tournament in the quarter-finals due to the Spanish selection on penalties. He was used five times during the tournament. In 2011 he traveled with the Uruguayan U-20 national team to the U-20 World Cup that year . There, too, he played all three games of the team eliminated in the group stage. In the same year he also played seven games in the U-20 South American Football Championship 2011, which his home country finished in second place. (As of December 8, 2012)
In the run-up to the 2012 Summer Olympics, Ichazo was part of the U-23 squad set up by national coach Óscar Tabárez . Ultimately, however, he was not nominated.
