Salvador T. Modesto
Salvador Trane Modesto (born March 10, 1930 in Carigara , † October 11, 2015 in San Carlos City ) was a Roman Catholic clergyman and auxiliary bishop in San Carlos .
Life
Salvador T. Modesto was ordained a priest on March 23, 1958 .
Pope John Paul II named him on December 28, 1978 titular bishop of Margum and auxiliary bishop in Dumaguete . The Archbishop of Cebu , Julio Cardinal Rosales y Ras , donated him episcopal ordination on May 3 of the next year ; Co- consecrators were Vicente Ataviado y Tumalad , Bishop of Maasin , and Cipriano Urgel y Villahermosa , Bishop of Palo .
On March 30, 1987, he was appointed auxiliary bishop in San Carlos . On July 25, 2005, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement.
