Sami Reichenbach

Sami Reichenbach , actually Sami El Gharbi , (* 1984 in Düsseldorf ) is a German actor , director and film producer . He has German, Austrian, Tunisian and Moroccan roots.

Life

Reichenbach was born as the third child of the housewife Marianne El Gharbi (née Müllauer) and the craftsman Youssef El Gharbi in Düsseldorf-Benrath. He has two older and one younger sister. In 2000 his parents divorced. Reichenbach was interested in acting from an early age. At the age of 18 he took professional acting lessons. His debut as an actor on stage and on TV also followed at the age of 18. In 2004 he played a supporting role in the RTL soap " Unter uns " as Guido Bergmann. Other roles in series, films and plays followed. In 2005 he had a supporting role in the ARD series " Verbotene Liebe ".

From 2005 to 2010 he completed state acting training at the University of Music, Theater and Media in Hanover . During his training, he played the role of Jamal in The Divine Odette by Rolf Kemnitzer at the Hannoversche Kammerspiele from October 2007 to January 2009 . This was followed by theater engagements at the Staatstheater Hannover , the Studiotheater Hannover (2009), the Theater für Niedersachsen (2009) and the Theater Koblenz . From 2010 to 2012 he was permanently engaged at the Koblenz Theater. There he played u. a. the title role in King Drosselbart , Ferdinand in The Tempest , Sebastian in What You Want , Paris in Danton's Death and Seyton in Macbeth . As Ferdinand in Der Sturm , Reichenbach convinced with “Espirit” in cooperation with Princess Miranda; the scene was one of the most beautiful moments of the production. In September 2011 he took part in the premiere of Roman Senkl's theater scenes As long as there is a goal at the Koblenz Theater . Since the beginning of 2016 he has been shooting for the RTL series Everything that matters ; he plays the journalist Stefan Schnabel. He first appeared in the series in March 2016.

Reichenbach was also active as a model and photo model at times under the name Sami El Gharbi . Reichenbach was involved as a radio play speaker in the 1st part of the radio play series Scream of Fear in the role of Giuseppe. As a voice actor , he took on a small role in Baphomet's Curse 2 . Since 2012 he has worked as a freelance actor, director, lecturer, coach, caster and producer. Reichenbach lives in Cologne .
