The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 ( own notation : SAMSUNG Galaxy Note5 , Codename : Project Noble , slogan : Your World Just Got Bigger ) is on Google's operating system Android -based phablet from Samsung Galaxy series of Samsung Electronics , which on August 13, 2015 was presented to the public for the first time together with the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge + . It is the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Samsung Galaxy Note Edge and the predecessor of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 . It was released on August 21, 2015 and did not appear in Europe.
