Sam Hill wins the Downhill World Cup in Schladming 2007

Samuel Hill (born July 21, 1985 ) is a mountain bike professional from Parkerville, Australia . In 2006, 2007 and 2010 he was downhill world champion . In 2007 and 2009 he also won the Mountain Bike World Cup in downhill . From the 2013 season he will be riding for the downhill sports team "CRC-Nukeproof".

Before he competed in his first downhill race at the age of twelve, he drove motocross and BMX . Sam Hill was Junior World Champion in 2002 and 2003 and has been riding for Team Specialized in the UCI Downhill World Cup since 2009 . In 2007 the Australian won the downhill races in Maribor ( Slovenia ), Fort William , Schladming , Mont Sainte-Anne and Thredbo with his Iron Horse Sunday .

Sam Hill competed at the EWS 2017 and won the overall standings straight away.
