Samuel Yeboah (born August 8, 1986 in Accra ) is a Ghanaian football player . He has been without a club since January 1, 2018.
Career
Yeboah began his career at home with the Heart of Lions, where he was brought into the first team in 2002. After becoming top scorer in the top Ghanaian league in 2004, he moved to Europe and signed a contract with Sheriff Tiraspol in Moldova .
With Sheriff, the Moldovan championship title 2005 could be won straight away. After only one year, the Ghanaian said goodbye and moved to Hapoel Kfar Saba in Israel .
In his first season with the Israelis they were tenth in the league, tied with relegated Hapoel Nazareth Illit , but they had a better goal difference. After eighth place in 2006/07 you had to relegate 2007/08 from the highest Israeli league. The striker then moved to Hapoel Tel Aviv . In his first season in Tel Aviv they were runner-up. There he was able to act for the first time on a European club level. In the first round of the UEFA Cup against the representative from France AS St. Etienne , he played through in the first leg on September 18, 2008 in Tel Aviv. The game ended 1: 2. After another autumn season at Hapoel, he moved to KRC Genk in Belgium during the winter transition period 2009/10 .
Yeboah made his debut in the Belgian top division on January 16, 2010 against Sporting Charleroi , when he was substituted on for Elyaniv Barda in the 87th minute . The debut was won 3-1.
Yeboah has played three times for the Ghanaian national team. He made his debut on November 22, 2008 in a friendly international match against Tunisia . The game ended 0-0.
