San Juan y Martínez is a city and a municipality in the central south of the Cuban province of Pinar del Río .

The municipality is located west of San Luis and east of Guane . The settlement was officially founded in 1774.

The municipality has 44,344 inhabitants on an area of ​​409 km², which corresponds to a population density of 108.4 inhabitants per square kilometer.

San Juan y Martínez is divided into eleven districts ( barrio ): Angel Abascal, Antonio Tarafa, Arroyo Hondo, Galafre, Guillén, Lagunillas, Norte, Pueblo, Río Seco, Segundo de Luis Lazo and Segundo de Martínez y Sur.
